Most cancer relapses are caused by the persistence of tumor cells that are not detected by conventional techniques.
Our method of testing is capable of detecting one cancer cell among 100,000 cells. The existence of these residual cells after treatment identifies patients with a high risk of relapse. This positive test can help us prevent disease relapse through maintenance or anticipatory treatments.
Our method has been validated in clinical studies in multiple myeloma and acute myeloid leukemia. Other tumors are currently in the process of validation.
