Altum Sequencing, the Madrid-based precision oncology biotech spun off from Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, has been awarded the PRECISEU Best Impact Recognition Award during the Spinoff Europa Conference'26, held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The recognition celebrates initiatives that are helping move personalised medicine from vision to real-world implementation across Europe, and highlights Altum Sequencing's ongoing work in ctDNA-based cancer monitoring.

Altum Sequencing's CEO and Co-Founder, Marina Planas, received the award on behalf of the company. Unable to attend the ceremony in person, as the team was simultaneously representing Altum Sequencing at the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2026 Congress in Stockholm, Planas participated through a video message shared live during the event.
